The beginning
Tan and Tino’s paths first crossed in the fall of 2013 at Ankeny DMACC. It was there, on the first day of class, that Tino would walk in late and go to sit in the back corner of the classroom, right next to Tan. After introducing each other and sitting through class together, Tino asked Tan if he wanted to get bagels before their next class. They had breakfast, got to know each other, and experienced everything that goes with that first date awkwardness. They eventually started to hang out outside of school and found that they had a lot of similar interests, thus forming a close friendship and what would soon be a business partnership.
